Hi! My name is Elana.  I am a nature photographer and Interior Designer based in Chicago, Illinois.  Design and photography (along with the Chicago Cubs) are my passions as I am constantly looking for new ways to capture life's beauty on camera.

I started my photography journey in middle school when I bought my first point and shoot camera.  From that moment, I was hooked; as my hobby turned into a deep passion for the arts.  I later furthered my career by exploring photography classes throughout high school.  These classes not only taught me how to use a SLR camera, but also how to get comfortable in the many practices of shooting for different assignments.

Throughout college, I spent most of my time studying for major, Interior Design, but filled my weekends with my favorite hobby; Photography.  I purchased a DSLR camera upon graduation and have been using it ever since! I have exchanged work with different models, using my talents to serve others by creating headshots and adventuring into the world of Nature Photography. 

I have since turned my photographs into a business by working with clients to create engagements, portraits, and head shots. However, my true passion is architecture, nature, still life, and taking the unexpected and turning it into a work of art.  I see the beauty in everyday things and capture them to create images that last a lifetime.
